How to transfer your iron-on:
First, check what your fabric/piece of clothing is made of.
🌸 Cotton, cotton/poly blends, polyester
Lay your fabric/clothing flat
Heat your iron to approx 150-180°C (medium setting)
Lay your iron-on in desired place with the SHINY, SMOOTH SIDE UP.
Make sure the placement is correct and smooth.
Iron for 25 seconds. Apply firm pressure but move the iron constantly.
Flip and iron from the other side for 15 seconds.
Lay your fabric/clothing flat and allow it to cool down.
Slowly remove liner when cool to touch.
Wait for 24 hours before washing the item.
🌸 Sensitive base materials: silk, faux leather, mesh, nylon
Lay your fabric/clothing flat.
Heat your iron to approx 125-145°C (low setting).
Lay your iron-on in desired place with the SHINY, SMOOTH SIDE UP.
Make sure the placement is correct and smooth.
Iron for 30 seconds. Apply firm pressure but move the iron constantly.
Flip and iron from the other side for 15 seconds. (Do not do this with faux leather)
Lay your fabric/clothing flat and allow it to cool down.
Slowly remove liner when cool to touch.
Wait for 24 hours before washing the item.
🌸 How do I know which side to iron over?
You can easily find that out by touching the iron-on patch. One side is smooth and shiny, and on the other you will be able to feel the outline of the design. The smooth side goes up, and the outline is placed on the fabric.
🌸 I ironed it on according to the instructions, but there’s still bits that aren’t properly attached.
Just repeat the process again and make sure to apply firm pressure.
🌸 How to wash my iron-on items?
I recommend turning it inside out and only washing on low temperature (it’s better for the planet anyway!).
